Opening an account in a Polish bank remotely was recently possible and very convenient for foreigners. However, today it is necessary to come in person to Warsaw (Poland) in order to open an account. So, it is not possible to open account remotely.
Each client can receive a multi-currency bank card, with which you can make purchases and pay for services offline and online, as well as use the card to work with different payment systems like PayPal, for instance. In the Polish bank you can open an account in the national Polish currency, and also in the US dollars, Euros, British pounds etc. Contact us to know more about needed documents and the whole procedure!
To open an account you must come in person to Warsaw, Poland. If you want to open it in one business day, you must come directly to the bank and open it on the spot. We will arrange a meeting with a bank manager on a specific date and time which you choose, and assist you during all the process of account opening. It will take approximately 4 hours. After the meeting in a bank you will receive login information and the bank accounts will be already active and ready to receive/execute money transfers. The bank card will arrive 7-10 days later, if you do not have a post address in Poland we are able to provide you ours, and send you a card by courier mail when we receive it.
It is up to you which bank to open account with. Each of the banks below has a wide network of branches in the country and is considered one of the largest and most reliable in Poland.

Mobile and tablet applications are enhanced and well protected so that customers can manage money anywhere in the world. Each outgoing money transfer must be confirmed with sms-code which comes to a client’s mobile phone number.

PKO Bank Polski – the oldest and largest bank in Poland, which was opened in 1919. It has the widest network of branches, ATMs in the country and at the same time does not lag behind other banks in terms of technology.
ING Bank Śląski is one of the largest commercial banks in Poland and a member of a huge Dutch financial group. It has been operating since 1989 and has about 400 branches. Since 1994, it has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. It participates in the deposit insurance system, works with pension savings. In terms of its significance, ING Bank ranks fourth in Poland.
Limits established by ING Bank for individuals’ personal bank accounts in Poland
There are restrictions when withdrawing cash from an ATM: no more than 10,000 zlotys can be withdrawn per day, which is about 2,300 euros.
ING client can withdraw any amount from the account on hand, but by prior order. If the amount of the transaction will exceed 50,000 euros at a time, it makes sense to notify employees at the bank by phone.
Millennium bank
Works since 1989. Included in the structure of the huge financial holding of Portugal. It has a large number of ATMs and branches in every city of Poland. Foreigners will not be difficult to open an account in the Millennium bank, Poland. Limits of withdrawal are similar to the previous bank’s ones.
Pekao Bank
Formed in 1929 and is one of the oldest. On the territory of the country there are 1000 branches.
In Poland, Pekao Bank is the first to start trading in the stock market. In terms of assets, it takes second place.
Each of the Polish banks represented is categorized as reliable. You can open bank accounts in any of them. Each of them works with foreigners (non-residents) and provides Internet banking services.
Attention should be paid to the conditions for opening accounts and cards, and the conditions for their further maintenance. Each bank in Poland has different conditions. It is also necessary to know that the concepts of an account and a card in a bank in Poland have a strict distinction.
First you need to open an account, and then get a card as a possible way to access it. When transferring money, you must specify the account number, not the card number.
